Tips for perfect ladoos

Small details that make big difference.

Roast gently

Toast sesame seeds over low heat until fragrant. Be careful not to over-toast, as it can turn bitter.

Keep it coarse

Grinding too coarse gives the best texture. Excessively fine can feel like paste.

Roll while warm

If the jaggery is cool and loose, gently heat the mixture and shape it rapidly.

Serving ideas

Serve with hot chai, or add chopped peanuts for a crunchy variation. For a festive platter, pair with gajak, chikki, or ganne ki kheer.
