Diwali Days

1. Dhanetras or Dhanatrayodashi is day when People in West India buy metal - Silver, Gold. Brass is also bought.
dx 2. Narakachaturdashi or Choti diwali which is also known as Kalichoudas or Bali Pratipada is the second day.
3. Lakshmi Pujan is main event on Diwali. Fireworks are used through out West India and across all India. Diyas and candles are most important on Diwali Day.
4. Govardhan Puja is performed on the fourth day. It is believed that Lord Krishna has lifted Govardhan Parvat to save people from Rain.
5. Bhai Doojin West India is 5th and last day of Diwali Festival. On this day sister put tilak on their brother forehead.
